Volbella Lips are in Edmonton - What to see them?
Volbella lips are here and it may be time for other fillers to move to the side. Edmonton lip rejuvenation has always been one of the more sought after treatments in facial rejuvenation. When we assess faces for their beauty, we frequently look at the lips and their relation to the rest of the face. Lips and eyes are the focus of our attention for a good reason. Large eyes and full, well contoured lips are a sign of beauty and health. Don't take my word for it - this is not just me saying it - it is a fact that has been studied and confirmed in many different and divergent cultures. Lips have it when it comes to facial beauty focus. Volbella is here to enhance and define what Mother Nature had in mind but never delivered. It is not just about lip service - it is ALL about lip service. Not just models and movie stars, but ordinary people – students, teachers, mothers, and business people from all walks of life. It is that affordable!
What is Juvederm Volbella?
Volbella is the newest member of the Juvederm family and offers several distinct advantages for lip treatments.
How does Juvederm Volbella differ from other soft tissue fillers?
We all know it - every filler wants to be the best in what it does. Well, Volbella is very good at lip treatments. Lip volume and contour rejuvenation can be achieved with a variety of soft tissue fillers such as Juvederm Ultra, Restylane, Teosyal Kiss or Ovita. But Volbella has been specifically designed to produce natural, soft lip rejuvenation and contour. Practically speaking, it produces less swelling during and after the procedure and the results appear to last for 12 months. These two features alone set Volbella apart from other competitors and offer a true advantage when comes to lip filler rejuvenation.
What are the treatments with Volbella like?
All Juvederm Volbella products come with lidocaine mixed into them making them much more pleasant to administer from the patient point of view. Lidocaine is the local anaesthetic that is commonly used in medical and surgical procedures. It results in less pain and more ease of injections. Patient experience can further be enhanced by "numbing" the entire lips prior to injections. This is my preferred method as it makes patients relaxed and comfortable.
What are the side effects of Volbella treatments?
Juvederm Volbella is a soft tissue filler that is administered via a small needle into the deeper layers of the skin as well as the muscle and fat layers. As such, patients can experience small bruising, minor irregularities, swelling and tenderness. In rare circumstances, some of the filler can be injected into a blood vessel or close to it resulting in the interruption of blood flow. This is a very rare occurrence but, when it happens, patients must contact their doctor for appropriate treatments. Fortunately, when noticed early, these rare issues can be successfully treated leading to full resolution.
Can Volbella be combined with other facial rejuvenation treatments?
One of the outstanding characteristics of Volbella is that it can easily be combined with many excellent facial treatment modalities. Each patient is unique and the needs of every person must be assessed, identified and appropriate treatments recommended. When "smoker’s lines" start to appear, patients may benefit from Botox, Dysport or Xeomin as well as surface treatments such as creams, chemical peels or lasers, in addition to volume rejuvenation with Volbella. Furthermore, it can be used as a part of full facial rejuvenation including Fractora, Fractora Firm, Selphyl, Sculptra, Juvederm Voluma or IPL Photo-rejuvenation.
Am I am candidate for Volbella treatments?
Juvederm Volbella is approved for the treatment of lips and as such can be used to enhance lip volume as well as lip contours. What that means for you is that if you feel that your lip volume is not what it once was or it has never been good enough for you, you can have a confidential consultation to see if Volbella treatments are right for you. Furthermore, if you feel that you lost that crisp lip boarder definition and wish to have it back - Volbella may be the answer you are looking for.
It is important that a dermatologist, plastic surgeon or a cosmetic physician provide all Volbella consultations, as appropriate treatments must be selected for each patient. If all one has is one filler, then all the problems must be solved by that filler, but in reality different fillers treat different concerns so look for a doctor that has different options for you and combines experience with knowledge of facial beauty. Your face will thank you.
